Cluj-Napoca Airport is approximately 113 km from the convention venue. The journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.

By car

ARRIVING BY CAR

By car: You can also travel to Târgu Mureș by car from Budapest or from other countries.

There are two main route options:

1. Budapest – Szeged – Cluj-Napoca – Târgu Mureș

Drive from Budapest to Szeged, then take the southern motorway route towards Cluj-Napoca and continue to Târgu Mureș. Around 80% of this route is on motorways. Please note that there is one section under construction where delays of up to one hour are possible. The total driving time is approximately 6–7 hours.

2. Budapest – Debrecen – Cluj-Napoca – Târgu Mureș

Drive from Budapest to Debrecen, then continue towards Cluj-Napoca and Târgu Mureș. After crossing the Romanian border, there is no motorway for a while, but the road is scenic and passes through beautiful natural landscapes. The journey time is similar: approximately 6–7 hours, covering about 580 km.

There is a border crossing, but usually no checkpoint. You only need to purchase a Romanian motorway vignette.
